Hyco Canada cut its teeth in the forestry, lumber, pulp and paper industries supplying high quality hydraulic cylinders originally under the Lessard name. That name became synonymous with quality and service. Today, decades later, now under the Hyco banner, we continue that tradition of rugged quality and excellent customer service. Many of our customers, both OEM's and large users, keep coming back to us for custom designed hydraulic actuators to precisely suit their equipment application.  Our expertise in the forestry, pulp and paper industry includes rod cylinders used in feller bunchers, tree grapples, skid steers, and loaders. These cylinders are used to actuate the grapple fingers and boom arms, to level and tilt back, to move saw blades, and to operate outriggers.  Our large bore telescoping cylinders are used in the pulp and paper industry to actuate massive wood chip dumpers.
