WEBER-HYDRAULIK
strengthens their international leading position in mobile hydraulics components and systems engineering by the acquisition of Hyco International Inc.
WEBER-HYDRAULIK, a leading and innovative international group that implements sophisticated customized solutions for hydraulic drive and control engineering has, with effect from 22. July 2011, acquired the US based Hyco International Inc. from the US financial investor Centre Partners Management LLC.
Hyco International Inc., with manufacturing locations in Canada, USA, Brazil and Germany is a world-wide supplier of hydraulic cylinders. With 600 employees and an annual turnover of approximately € 100 million, HYCO‘s products are used in forestry and construction machinery, refuse handling equipment, dump trucks, oil and gas field installations and cranes, as well as mining and agricultural equipment.
WEBER-HYDRAULIK, which is headquartered in Güglingen, north of Stuttgart, is a 100% family-owned company. With an annual sales of over € 200 million, the company has approximately 1,250 employees at several locations worldwide and is designing and producing customized hydraulic components and systems for market leading customers in a variety of industries including commercial vehicles, mobile cranes, agricultural and construction machines, fork-lift trucks, as well as utility vehicles and industrial equipment.
In addition, WEBER-RESCUE SYSTEMS ranks highly for design, quality and reliability among all major international manufacturers of hydraulic rescue tools. The company has also positioned itself successfully in the solar power industry, supplying hydraulic drive systems for solar power installations.

Hyco Canada produces rugged, high quality, custom hydraulic cylinders. First established in 1953 under the much respected Lessard name, we joined the international Hyco group in 1998. We have over 55 years of experience in designing and manufacturing both telescopic and rod style hydraulic actuators. We produce cylinders from 1-1/2" to 30" bore in our 100,000 square foot facility located in St. Wenceslas, Quebec. We specialize in large bore, high mix, low volume, custom designed hydraulic cylinders. Standard Catalogue Welded Hydraulic Cylinders Although Hyco Canada produces Custom OEM Hydraulic Cylinders to your exact specifications in both Rod Cylinder and Telescopic Cylinder designs, we also produce a series of Standard Catalogue Cylinders. Our Standard Rod Cylinders Catalogue includes cylinders from 1-1/2" bore up to 10" bore. These are available in both cushioned and non-cushioned designs. Mountings include pivot, spherical, flange, foot, trunnion and combinations. Our Standard Telescopic Cylinders Catalogue includes cylinders with capacities from 7 to 50 tons and stroke lengths up to 343 inches ( 28.6 feet). Custom Designed and OEM Hydraulic Cylinders Custom Designed Cylinders, both in Rod Cylinder style and Telescopic Multi-Stage Cylinder style, can be manufactured to your exact specifications. We build telescopic cylinders in both single and double acting models. We take great pride in our expertize in manufacturing Large Bore and Very Long Stroke Hydraulic Actuators.
